Good nature in Atlanta

Atlanta is a fairly green city, with lots of trees and parks. But there is also good nature to be found not far outside the city. Jamie and I enjoy going for a hike at Kennesaw Mountain - it's a national park with lots of trails. Here's a view of Atlanta from the mountain.



A little bit further outside of the city, there's also Stone Mountain - famous for its carving of confederate military leaders. You can hike up the mountain for an incredible view of Atlanta. There's lots of other activities too. The gift shop does contain memorabilia with confederate flags - don't say we didn't warn you.
